Thelma Herring

October 16, 1930 - February 7, 2022

Thelma Lee, 91, passed on February 7, 2022. She was born and raised in Kapalama Heights, O’ahu by Kam Poo and Flora Lee, along with her two sisters Jenny and Betty, and two brothers Peter and Howard. She retired from Hawaiian Airlines after over 40 years of service and volunteered at Queen’s Hospital for over 10 years. She was married to August Herring Sr., for over 50 years. and had three children August Jr., Susan, and Cynthia, and six grandchildren, Jessica, Henry, Samuel, Tawny-Lynn, Shay-Lynn, and Ash-Lynn. Services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
